What's in the box.

Everything that ships with the figure — and the one detail we cut because the factory couldn't build it at the standard we approved.

This one is about the box: everything that comes with the figure, and one thing that doesn't anymore.

Here is everything that ships with it. The figure, numbered. A rigid box, black on black, with nothing on the outside but the COAL mark. A 20-page lore book — the monochrome world, the red star, the first heart. A numbered steel heart medallion, seated in a magnetic slot on the book's front cover, carrying the same number as the figure. Three embroidered patches and three metal pins. And the chip, with the Keeper's Log we explained two updates ago.

Now the part that isn't in there anymore.

The box was supposed to open at the heart. A magnetic door, and the broken heart on the front splitting in two as you pulled it. On paper it was the detail we were proudest of. The factory can't build that construction at the standard we approved — not at any price that doesn't come out of the figure itself — so we cut it instead of shipping a worse version of it.

What replaced it is quieter, and we think it's better. A box that gives you nothing on the outside. Black, closed, one mark. The only colour in the entire package is the colour you find inside it.

The display base under the figure in these images comes with the Signature set. It isn't in the other boxes — there it's a separate add-on. We'd rather point that out than let a photo do the promising.

None of this moves the date. Estimated delivery is April 2027, and that number was built with room in it on purpose.
